Itinerary Overview
The tour departs from your chosen city, flying with the comfort of Thai Airways.
Day 1
Upon arrival in Bangkok you will be greeted at the airport by your Patient Destination Assistant and escorted by private car to the hotel. Nestled in landscaped gardens, we chose this hotel for its sense of privacy and proximity to the hospital and some of Bangkok’s most vibrant shopping outlets, markets and restaurants. The remainder of your first day is Bangkok is free time, however we ask that you attend welcome drinks with your health travel assistant in the evening. This is your chance to review your individual medical schedule over the coming days.
Day 2
Pre-surgery consultation
This morning your Patient Destination Assistant will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the hospital. She will help you through the registration process and escort you to the Plastic Surgery Center for your consultation. Following registration you will meet your chosen surgeon and medical team for pre-operative tests. In some cases your surgery may be performed on the same day as your consultation. After your pre-operative tests you will go to TRIA.
Pre-operative Care
To ensure that you are physically and emotionally prepared for surgery, you will today be transferred to TRIA Integrative Wellness Medical Spa. Here you will be receive a complimentary wellness massage, and have access to other state-of-the-art treatments within the facility.
Days 3-4
Surgical procedure
If your surgery didn't take place on Day 3, it will take place today. Every aspect of your stay in hospital will be taken care of. We will ensure that your family and friends at home are kept well-informed. An overnight stay in hospital is required. Completing your surgery by Day 4 will give you adequate time to rest.
Days 5-9
Post-treatment recuperation
When your surgeon is satisfied with your condition, you will be released from hospital.
Your time in Bangkok can be spent doing as much or as little as you please, within the bounds of your recovery plan. The hotel staff have been briefed about the importance of discretion and privacy during your recovery, and every measure has been taken to ensure that you are comfortable and well cared for. In between your follow up appointments we suggest that you take some time to visit MBK shopping centre and the Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Your health travel assistant can recommend and book a range of interesting day tours for you.
Day 10
Return home
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight. Your treatment will not stop once you reach home. We will stay connected with you for as long as your require. We'll arrange periodic follow-up, and will be available to discuss any post-care issues.
